Amethyst from Vaporized Calcite from The Purple Point Mine #NM105265414
Note the growth formations. Most Amethyst is 6 sided, ours is 3 or 4 and form in the Pseudocubic habit. If a crystal grows in a Vug it will usually form this way.
Our Amethyst is usually found forming with blue Agate, Celadonite, Iron and Prehnite.
This specimen has it all plus some cool botryoidal formations in the matrix with druzy Quartz.
